This Reddish Egret walked around us at FeatherFest during my Ground Level Photography field trip. He was too close for a full bird shot so got these head shots with minor cropping.
Taken with Canon 1DX and Canon 500mm F4 IS II with 1.4X III teleconverter mounted on Skimmer ground pod with Wimberley II gimbal head.
